Actor Adah Sharma recently revealed that she has been without work for nearly a month after a scheduling dispute with a film producer disrupted her shooting commitments. The actress shared the incident in a candid video posted on Instagram, explaining how repeated changes in filming dates caused a domino effect that eventually left her with no active projects for several weeks.
In the video, Adah said she was simultaneously working on three films when the schedule of the first project kept shifting. Because of these changes, its shoot began clashing with the dates of the other two films she had already committed to. According to the actor, the producer of the first film insisted that her manager prioritizes his project. Recalling the conversation, she said, “He said, ‘No matter what, I want these dates.’ My manager asked, ‘Are you sure?’ He said, ‘Yes, I want these dates.’”
To accommodate the situation, the teams of the other films reportedly adjusted their schedules. Adah noted that some filmmakers were understanding and supportive during the process. “You must have heard that people in the industry are bad. But I want to tell you that there are good people as well,” she said, appreciating those who cooperated with the date changes. However, after the adjustments were made, the producer who had originally demanded those dates allegedly backed out. The sudden decision left the actor without work for several weeks. “My life is ruined. I have been idle for a month; emotionally, mentally, professionally, financially idle,” she said in the video.

Adah, who gained widespread recognition for her performance in the controversial hit The Kerala Story, has often spoken about the unpredictable nature of the entertainment industry. The actor made her Bollywood debut with the horror film 1920 and has also appeared in projects like Commando 2 and the series Sunflower. Despite the recent setback, she continues to remain active on social media, often sharing candid and humorous glimpses of her life with fans.
