Actor Ishaan Khatter recently praised Rukmini Vasanth during a round table discussion at The Hollywood Reporter, sharing a thoughtful and emotional perspective on her performance in Sapta Sagaradaache Ello. Admitting that he discovered the film later than most, Ishaan revealed how profoundly it stayed with him once he finally watched it. “I was late to the party and I saw Sapta Sagaradaache Ello this year,” he shared, adding that the experience moved him enough to personally message Rukmini and everyone involved in the project.
Reflecting on both Side A and Side B, Ishaan emphasized how integral Rukmini’s character is to the film’s emotional core. “The more I think of it both Side A and Side B she is kind of the anchor of that film,” he said. He went on to describe her presence as a grounding force amid chaos, calling her “that safe space for that character who is going through all that turmoil and all of that stuff.”

Recalling the film’s haunting climax, he spoke about its visceral impact, sharing that when the main lead walks into the water, “you’re a weeping mess yourself, and it feels as though you have walked into the water yourself.”
