Telangana minister Konda Surekha’s distasteful remarks against Nagarjuna and his family had activated widespread criticism and prompted Nag to file a defamation suite against the minister.
Now, in a move of reconciliation Konda has posted an apology on Twitter to Nagarjuna: “I had no intention of hurting or defaming Akkineni Nagarjuna Garu or his family members. I regret any unintended impression created by my statements in relation to them and withdraw the same.”
However, Nag is no mood for a compromise. “When it comes to family, there is no compromise. If the attack was on me alone, I would probably be more forgiving. But mudslinging on my family, that is not negotiable. I will fight till my last breath,” he said.
