Drona is a Saturday matinee popcorn "throw your cares away" type of film. I did like the film on a whole. I also liked the message of how if an ordinary guy can become the savior of the world then anyone can achieve great things in their life. Another plus is that the film is a family film for all ages. I thought Abhishek ably handled his acting and action scenes. He along with Priyanka made the best of the material they got in the film. Kay Kay was good but sometimes over the top like most villains in fantasy films. Jaya was effective in her small cameo.
