Shruti Haasan who has till now been sparingly seen in Bollywood films will soon be seen in two big films that are currently under production. However, she has been active in Telugu cinema. And now, the latest issue of Harpers Bazaar Bride features the actress as their cover girl for the month of May.

Making a unique style statement draped in the traditional sari, with a contemporary twist to the look, Shruti dons a Rahul Mishra ensemble for the cover photograph, shot by Rid Burman and styled by Mohit Rai. Apparently, the choice to put Shruti on the cover was due to her rise in the south as a mega star and to celebrate the South Indian bridal fashion.
