In a candid conversation with Cosmo India, Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor shared her intriguing take on spirituality, optimism, and the forces that shape her life. Shraddha delved into the realms of magic, divine energy, and the practices that interest her, offering a refreshing perspective on how she navigates life.
Shraddha’s Curious Connection with Spiritual Practices
While she admits to having a natural curiosity about spiritual traditions, Shraddha made it clear that she doesn't fully subscribe to one specific practice or ideology. Reflecting on her experiences, she shared, "I’ve done two pujas during Pitru Paksha day," referring to the Hindu tradition of paying respects to one's ancestors. "I sat with the pandit on the day out of sheer curiosity and asked him about the upcoming nine-day festivities, where you worship various forms of Hindu goddesses because I wanted to connect with the divine goddess energies."
Despite her interest in learning more about such traditions, the actress emphasized that spirituality is more of a fascinating experience than something she links directly to her life’s happenings. Shraddha added, "It is really not something specific that I find interesting, but all of this is pretty fascinating. And even though I am curious, I have never associated things happening in my life entirely to these schools of thought."
A Believer in Magic and Optimism
What stands out from Shraddha’s revelations is her unwavering optimism. The actress believes in the power of positivity and is a firm believer in magic, which she credits with guiding her through life’s ups and downs. "At my core, I am a believer of magic and all things positive," Shraddha said. "In fact, I feel that I am so optimistic that I have the most rose-tinted glasses that you'll ever find on anyone."
Despite the inevitable challenges, Shraddha’s perspective remains largely undeterred by negativity. She continues to approach life with an inherent belief that everything will work out in the end. "Even when there are people who will bring me back to Earth, I have this inherent belief that everything will always pan out for the best," she added with characteristic optimism.
