Crew, which brings together actresses Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon for the first time, has been receiving quite a massive response at the box office with the film earning moolah during the weekend. The heist comedy thriller is produced by Anil Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor in association with Ektaa R Kapoor. As the two veterans from the industry came together for this female-centric fun entertainer, Ektaa revealed how Anil Kapoor has been an ‘anchor’ who helped her hold down the fort.

Ektaa R Kapoor recently took to her social media handle to thank the megastar for being the anchor of the Crew and said, “Thank u Anil Sir!!!! U R ANCHOR OF OUR CREW. @ANILSKAPOOR IS MY LEGIT GO TO PERSON FOR ADVICE N HELP! I HAD TO THANK THIS VISIONARY FOR THIS SUCCESS,” she wrote on her Instagram story.

Speaking of the film, it is a light-hearted heist-comedy featuring the Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu and Kriti Sanon in the role of airhostesses who are on the verge of bankruptcy but decide to turn the tables by smuggling gold through flight journeys. Released on March 29, the film has already earned over Rs. 30 crores over the weekend. In fact, several celebrities like Karisma Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, among others have shared their reviews about the film on social media.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Anil Kapoor recently delivered back-to-back blockbusters with Animal and Fighter. Now, he is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Subedaar, which is directed by Suresh. The actor is also expected to play the lead in the Hindi-language adaptation of 2019 Malayalam-language hit Android Kunjappan Ver 5.25, where a father-son relationship gets an endearing twist when an AI humanoid enters their lives.
