Supreme Court orders Aditya Pancholi to vacate his bungalow

en Bollywood News Supreme Court orders Aditya Pancholi to vacate his bungalow

Aditya Pancholi has been asked to vacate his Juhu bungalow by the end of December and pay the monthly rent to the landlord till December by the Supreme Court. Aditya Pancholi, a popular actor in Bollywood, has previously faced some rather serious charges due to his anger issues in the past few years.

The bench of Justice Jagdish Singh Khehar and Justice R Banumathi ruled in favour of the landlord, the Hate family recently and Pancholi was asked to pay the arrears to the landlady within the next two weeks. During the hearing the Pancholis also offered to pay the market rate for the rent of the bungalow for which the court replied that Pancholi was a big man who could buy a new house.

The bungalow, located in suburban Mumbai was rented by Pancholi's father in 1960 for Rs. 150 per month and when Pancholi failed to pay the rent for three months in 1977, the then owner Tarabai Hate approached the court to initiate the proceedings against the actor under the Bombay Rents Hotel, Lodging House Rates Control Act, 1947.
