Sumbul Touqeer, who won hearts as Imlie and later in Bigg Boss 16, is gearing up for a major change in her personal life. Her father, Touqeer Khan is all set to tie the knot for the second time and the popular actress has expressed her happiness over his decision. In a recent report, Sumbul extended her complete support to his decision and also asserted that her entire family, including her sister Sanya is thrilled about the wedding. On the other hand, Sumbul’s father Touqeer revealed that his daughters wanted him to marry since 10 years.

In a recent interview with ETimes, Sumbul Touqeer’s father revealed that his daughters were keen on him marrying the second time. He said, "Well, Sumbul and Saniya have been wanting me to marry since 10 years.” He also went on to add that this feels like a conspiracy that they have made with their uncle and Touqeer’s elder brother. For the unversed, Sumbul’s uncle lqbal Hussain Khan had appeared on Bigg Boss 16. “Yeh inki saazish hai bade papa ke saath milkar. Ghabrahat ho rahi hai (I am sure they have conspired this with their uncle. I am feeling very nervous).”

On the other hand, Sumbul couldn’t stop gushing about how happy she is about her father’s decision. “Our father has been our greatest source of inspiration and support for the last many years. Saniya and I are very happy for him. Our bade papa played an instrumental role in this marriage. I am grateful to him,” Sumbul told Bombay Times.

Touqeer Khan will be marrying Nilofer, who is separated from her husband, and has a two-year-old daughter. Speaking about the new family members who will be coming in, Sumbul added, “We are very happy and looking forward to welcoming them into our family. Along with our father's wife, a new sister will also join our family and we are extremely excited about it.”
