South Korean broadcast channel tvN has unveiled a new poster for its upcoming fantasy drama The Heavenly Idol starring Kim Min Kyu and Go Bo Gyeol. According to Korean tabloid Soompi, based on a popular webtoon and web novel, The Heavenly Idol is a fantasy drama that follows a High Priest Rembrary, who suddenly wakes up one day to find himself in the body of Woo Yeon Woo, a member of the unsuccessful idol group Wild Animal.
Kim Min Kyu stars as the High Priest Rembrary who turns into the idol Woo Yeon Woo. Meanwhile, Go Bo Gyeol will portray Kim Dal, the idol’s No. 1 fan who ends up becoming his manager.
In the newly unveiled poster, Kim Dal is seen placing a crown on Rembrary’s head. The poster’s caption reads, as translated by Soompi, “Dear God, please make me successful as an idol.”
