Pakistani actors Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan became beloved on-screen pair on their show Humsafar. The audience loved them as Ashar and Khirad in the show. The fans have wanted them to reunite on screen. Time and again, they have reunited at events and award shows. Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan had a little reunion on Monday.
Mahira Khan shared a picture on Twitter with Fawad Khan and Hamza Ali Abbasi recently. They were both attending the Pakistan Super League to support their favourite teams. “Hogaya chase #PSL2018 #fatsosofMJ,” she captioned the photo.
This reunion comes after the news broke that Fawad and Mahira along with Hamza Ali Abbasi will star in an upcoming movie, Maula Jatt 2. Both of them have not been able to work in India due to tension between two countries after Uri attack. A ban was imposed on Pakistani artistes to refrain them from working in India.
Fawad Khan became a fan favourite in India after his TV show Zindagi Gulzar Hai premiered here. Post that, he made his Bollywood debut in Khoobsurat opposite Sonam Kapoor. He went onto star in two films- Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Kapoor and Sons. Mahira Khan made her Bollywood debut last year with Shah Rukh Khan starrer Raees.
