The year of 2017 was Rajkummar Rao's year as he won praises for his performances in multiple films. Soon, the actor signed Dinesh Vijan’s next production co-starring Shraddha Kapoor. Though the title of the film is kept under wraps, the prep for the film has already begun.

Touted to be a horror comedy and written by the director duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao have begun reading sessions for the film. He shared a lovely photograph with Shraddha and wrote, "Getting ready to roll our horror comedy with the most wonderful @shraddhakapoor #ReadingSessions. #Whatsthetitle @MaddockFilms."

Shraddha Kapoor shared the same image and captioned it, "But..... what’s the title? Readings with the absolutely fantastic @rajkummar_rao Horror-comedy time!"

Last month, Shraddha Kapoor said, "Very excited to share that I’ll be working with one of my favourite actors Rajkummar Rao and the hilarious director duo Raj and DK for a first of its kind horror comedy!” The film will soon go on floors.

On the work front, Rajkummar Rao will be seen in Fanne Khan co-starring alongside Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. As for Shraddha Kapoor, she will be seen in Saaho that stars Baahubali fame actor Prabhas. She is also prepping for badminton champion, Saina Nehwal biopic.
