Jab Harry met Sejal is that kind of a Rom-com which makes u smile through all of it, because of its quirky ways. You keep smiling, gushing over SRK's good looks and the surroundings, Anushka looks fantabulous as always. But the fun gets 400% when the story shows its twists and turns and you are hit suddenly with an existential question in between all the fun, the fun doesn't go anywhere but now you are looking for answers, you relate to your own inside person which did certain things, and could not do others. The paths you take, the paths you are going to take further....the priorities are questioned. And all this tied together nicely by strong dialogues and stronger delivery of them by Shah Rukh. The soul is scratched by this film, just like any other Imtiaz's film and then it is also healed amazingly with not direct answers but with the new directions it opens. Imtiaz's direction is amazing as usual, visuals look great, cinematography is top quality. The dance numbers make want to hit the floor, the music by Pritam sounds way better inside the film and the BGM is in perfect sync with the arc of the story. The film could however do with a less song, but SRK's charm in songs makes you OK. Overall the film is a full on entertainment and a flick worth watching more than once. The climax scene is awesome. Don't miss it. It is so much more than a regular Rom-com. I give it 9.5/10
