didnt knw much abt the 'orignal' ghajini...but the moment i saw the first poster today...MEMENTO...memento mori!!!
now this film is a modern day classic...the user who has pointed out the same fact...has unfortunately not understood that movie...but its ok...it canbe difficult unraveling that kind of movie at first go...
as for the romance n action, as i gather frm the tamil version of memento i.e. ghajini...i dont have a clue but m pretty sure that all of that would have murdered the orignal which pretty much made christopher nolan into the knight he is today
personally, i was REALLY eager for ghajini...but now the expectations have been watered down considerably...as i would go into the theater thinking...memento..n ofcourse it'll fall short of THAT
idea...i'll indulge in some piracy for this one then...
and i do have a question for aamir...WHY...why first of all go for a remake of a movie, ripped/inspired from a cult favourite and secondly...why not just get the rights frm the orignal producers of memento to adapt the screenplay/story...surely you can afford that...maybe ur friendship with ur new partner, salman is have negative effects ;)
also, a humble request...please dont do anything with andaz apna apna...like sequel or modern day remake, etc
