Sonakshi Sinha wraps up shoot for her Telugu debut film Jatadhara: "My team has killed it on this one"

Actress Sonakshi Sinha has officially wrapped the shoot of her debut Telugu film Jatadhara. The actress, who stepped into the world of South Indian cinema with this much-anticipated project, revealed her first look from the film earlier this year on Women’s Day, sending fans into a frenzy. The poster instantly buzzed, with audiences praising her striking new avatar and expressing excitement for her regional debut.

Directed by Venkat Kalyan, the film also stars Sudheer Babu in the lead role, marking Jatadhara a significant milestone in Sonakshi’s career as she takes on a powerful new role in a language she's exploring for the first time. The film is already being touted as one of her most exciting projects yet.

 

Taking to Instagram to share the news of the film’s wrap, Sonakshi wrote: “Aaaaand one more down!! A film wrap for me on #Jatadhara... my first Telugu film... and my team has killed it on this one!!! Bohot mazza aaya, bohot dhamaal kiya... can't wait for you all to see! Thank you for the amazing shooting experience and thank you to the ENTIRE team!!!”

 

 

 

Having said that, it is worth mentioning here that a month ago, the makers unveiled the first look of Sonakshi's character in the upcoming Telugu film. The shooting began with a grand muhurat ceremony in Hyderabad in February. Later, the team moved into the forests of Mount Abu, where an intricate jungle set was constructed at Maukaa Studios. The film’s scale and vision promise a visually stunning experience rooted in ancient legend and high-octane action. Produced by Prernaa Arora and Shivin Narang in collaboration with Zee Studios, Jatadhara promises to be a multilingual spectacle.

 

Speaking of Sonakshi's last big screen appearance, she was seen in the Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff starrer Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.
