Earlier today, RRR created history by becoming the first Indian film to have won the Oscars 2023 in the Best Original Song category. The MM Keeravani compostion, ‘Naatu Naatu’ managed to leave behind tracks sung by global icons like Rihanna and Lady Gaga, and many of the celebrities as well as our Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to social media to share his heartiest congratulations to the team and express pride over their achievements. The team too decided to celebrate this iconic victory by planning an after Oscars party, a glimpse of which was shared by Ram Charan’s wife Upasana Kamineni Konidela.

Upasana Kamineni Konidela, who also has a massive fan following on social media, shared several special moments from the Oscars 2023. The star wife accompanied her husband at the 95th Academy Awards and also posted the massive fan following Ram Charan enjoys in the States. Along with that and the congratulatory message dedications on social media that has been pouring in, Upasana shared a few photos of her attending the after-Oscars party for RRR. Along with a few photos of the décor, Upasana also posted a video of MM Keeravani playing the piano. It seems that the entire team was in a jovial mood and celebrated a merry evening of dance and music.

 

 

In the past, RRR also won the Golden Globe and several other accolades. Director S.S. Rajamouli not only won awards for his direction but even Ram Charan and Jr NTR won prestigious honors.

 

For the unversed, RRR is a Telugu period drama, set against the backdrop of pre-Independence India which was ruled by the British Raj. The film also featured Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, in pivotal roles and released in India, in March 2022, in multiple languages including Hindi.
