Telugu actor Venkatesh Daggubati's latest film, Sankranthiki Vasthunam, directed by Anil Ravipudi, is enjoying a tremendous run at the box office. Released during the festive season, the movie has become a top pick for family audiences. Actor Mahesh Babu, who recently watched the film, took to social media to express his excitement and praise for the project.

Mahesh Babu wrote, “Enjoyed watching #SankranthikiVasthunam...@VenkyMama sir is just terrific. So proud and happy for my director @AnilRavipudi for giving consecutive blockbusters. @aishu_dil @Meenakshiioffl were superb in their characters. The kid "Bulli Raju" knocked it right out of the park. Congratulations to the entire cast and crew.”

 

 

 

Mahesh Babu, known for supporting his peers, especially former collaborators, has a history with both Venkatesh and Anil Ravipudi. He starred alongside Venkatesh in the 2013 Sankranti hit Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu and worked with Anil Ravipudi on the 2020 blockbuster Sarileru Neekevvaru, which also released during Sankranti.

 

Sankranthiki Vasthunam opened to a stellar Rs 23 crore on its first day, surpassing expectations and emerging as a standout among Sankranti releases like Daaku Maharaj and Game Changer. With its heartwarming family-oriented storyline and positive reception, the film is poised for sustained success at the box office.

 

Produced by Shirish under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner and presented by Dil Raju, Sankranthiki Vasthunam features VTV Ganesh and Naresh in pivotal roles. With music composed by Bheems Ceciroleo, the film marks Venkatesh Daggubati's third collaboration with director Anil Ravipudi, following their hits F2: Fun and Frustration (2019) and F3: Fun and Frustration (2022).
