Gran Turismo to be released in IMAX and 4DX Screens in India on August 25

Sony Pictures Entertainment India will release the inspiring sports adventure film Gran Turismo in cinemas across India on August 25, 2023. The film will also have exclusive special screenings from August 18 onwards, for racing fans and gaming enthusiasts.

Gran Turismo is based on the unbelievable true story of a team of unlikely underdogs – a struggling working-class gamer (Archie Madekwe), a failed former racecar driver (David Harbour), and an idealistic motorsport executive (Orlando Bloom). Together, they risk it all to take on the most elite sport in the world.

 

The film is directed by Neill Blomkamp, who is known for his work on films such as District 9 and Elysium. The ensemble cast includes David Harbour, Orlando Bloom, Archie Madekwe, Darren Barnet, Geri Halliwell Horner and Djimon Hounsou.

 

Gran Turismo is an inspiring, thrilling, and action-packed story that proves that nothing is impossible when you're fueled from within. The film is sure to appeal to fans of racing, gaming, and inspirational stories alike.

 

In addition to the general release on August 25, Gran Turismo will also have exclusive special screenings from August 18 onwards. These screenings will be held in select cinemas across India and will feature behind-the-scenes footage, interviews with the cast and crew, and other special features.
