Veer Pahariya observes Shaheed Diwas, pays tribute to India’s ‘Bravehearts’ in Punjab

Actor Veer Pahariya, who recently made his debut with Sky Force, marked Shaheed Diwas by visiting Punjab to pay homage to India’s fallen heroes. March 23, observed as Shaheed Diwas, commemorates the sacrifices of revolutionaries like Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Rajguru, who laid down their lives for the nation’s independence.

During his visit, Veer explored some of Punjab’s most historically significant sites, including the memorial of Sardar Bhagat Singh. He engaged in discussions with local representatives, delving into the significance of the day and the enduring legacy of those who fought for India’s freedom. Taking to social media, Veer shared glimpses of his experience, posting pictures from the memorial sites. His caption read, “The land of Gurus, Saints & Martyrs ???????? Shaheed Diwas [23rd March]”, reflecting his reverence for the occasion.

 

 

Interestingly, Veer Pahariya’s debut film, Sky Force, also carries a patriotic theme. He portrayed Squadron Leader Ajjamada Boppayya Devayya, an unsung hero of the 1965 Indo-Pak war, in a film that showcases India’s daring airstrike on Pakistan’s Sargodha airbase. The movie received a positive response during its theatrical run and has now found a wider audience following its release on Amazon Prime Video.

 

With his first film successfully establishing him in the industry, Veer Pahariya’s next career moves are highly anticipated.
