Sara Ali Khan wishes ‘Mommy Jaan’ Amrita Singh on birthday, calls her ‘Our biggest blessing’
Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan took to Instagram to wish her mother, veteran actress Amrita Singh, a warm and affectionate happy birthday, sharing a series of snapshots featuring herself, her younger brother Ibrahim Ali Khan, and their mother.
In her caption, Sara expressed deep love and gratitude for Amrita, affectionately referring to her as “mommy jaan” and highlighting the special place she holds in her life. The carousel of images included joyful moments from family outings, candid laughs and plenty of affectionate embraces, illustrating the close connection between mother and children.
Addressing her mother directly, Sara wrote in her post, “I love you the most in the whole wide world. Thank God for you… you’re our biggest blessing Ma.” Sara also spoke about their close bond, mentioning how Amrita has been her favourite travel companion through “mountains to the deserts and seas,” and added that she would do whatever it takes to make her mother happy.
Sara and Ibrahim are the children of Amrita Singh and their father Saif Ali Khan. Over the years, Sara has often shared glimpses of her personal life on social media, using celebrations like Mother’s Day and birthdays to acknowledge the love and support she receives from her family. Amrita Singh, a well-known star of Bollywood since the 1980s, has appeared in iconic films including Betaab, Chameli Ki Shaadi and Naam. Her daughter Sara followed her into the film industry, debuting in the 2018 drama Kedarnath and quickly establishing herself as a popular actress with roles in Simmba and Love Aaj Kal.
