Riteish Deshmukh wrote in Marathi, expressing his deep respect for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. His message conveyed that the Maratha king upheld the dignity, duty, and justice of his people. He bowed in reverence to the fearless warrior and visionary ruler, calling him an omniscient emperor and a revered deity.

 

Netizens also paid tribute to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the comments. One user wrote, “Jai Shivrai,” while another added, “Jai Shivrai, Jai Shambhuraje.”

 

 

 

Meanwhile, grand celebrations are underway in Maharashtra's Nagpur to mark Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s birth anniversary. People took to the streets with dhols and flags, honoring the legendary leader’s legacy.

 

Shivaji Maharaj was born on February 19, 1630, at Shivneri Fort in Pune.

 

The 17th-century warrior king founded the Maratha Empire and is regarded as one of India's greatest warriors.

 

In 1674, Shivaji Maharaj formally established the Maratha Empire in western India after fiercely battling the Mughals in 1670. Along with his military conquests, he introduced a well-organized administrative system and implemented a civil code for the welfare of his people.

 

On the work front, Riteish Deshmukh will next be seen in *Housefull 5*, alongside Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Fardeen Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, and Nargis Fakhri. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the comedy film is set to release on June 6, 2025.
