Rashmika Mandanna responds to Vicky Kaushal in a beautiful post after the latter compliments her post wrapping up Chaava

After the two of them had a successful year, fans of Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna are excited to see the chemistry of this fresh pairing onscreen, that too in a period avatar. With Vicky as Chhatrapati Sambaji Maharaj and Rashmika as his wife Yesubai, the film has been on floors for quite some time. However, earlier this week, the team announced the wrap up of their film titled Chaava and the lead stars engaged in a fun banter on the platform.

After completing the shoot, Rashmika Mandanna and Vicky Kaushal were seen exchanging messages back and forth on their Instagram stories, wherein the latter was also complimenting his co-star liberally. Responding to his words, Rashmika added, “Ayee, not bad naane chaaithe ulla. Thank you for your kind words, sir garu. I was just thinking how much fun it was being on the set.”

 

For the unversed, the banter kicked off when Rashmika shared a long post, dedicating it to the entire team including director Laxman Utekar and producer Dinesh Vijan. For Vicky she wrote, “It’s been such a pleasure working with you. You are just tooooo warm and kind (except for the last day where you were just taking my case) but most days you were amazing. I am kidding..you are such a gem. I will always wish the best for you man. Was such a pleasure. mom has told me to convey regards to you”.

 

 

Responding to her note, Vicky had taken to the platform and wrote, “@rashmika_mandanna… neen yennane ullia? The whole set is missing your warmth and energy immensely. People don’t know that the smile you have on your worst days is bigger and better than the smile most have on their best days. Major inspiration! Thank you for being our Yesubai and my regards to Aunty as well. Oh and btw what are you thinking now?”

 

Speaking of the film, Chaava is a period drama set against the backdrop of the Maratha empire and is scheduled to release on December 6 this year.
