Pallavi Joshi on making her Cannes debut with Tanvi The Great, “Grateful to be part of a story that connects so powerfully”
Producer and actress Pallavi Joshi, a powerhouse of talent and a recipient of National Awards, has consistently delivered films that leave a lasting impact. With a journey marked by excellence and dedication, she has carved a unique space for herself in Indian cinema. Now, after years of remarkable contributions, she marked a new milestone, making her debut at the prestigious 2025 Cannes Film Festival with her film Tanvi The Great.
As Pallavi Joshi made her debut at 2025 Cannes Film Festival, she received an amazing response. While expressing her delight and gratitude, she said, “I am deeply overwhelmed by the love we received at the Cannes screening of Tanvi The Great. The response was truly incredible; every performance was appreciated, and the film resonated with people across cultures and languages. It was an evening filled with emotion, warmth, and support. Grateful to be part of a story that connects so powerfully, and I can’t wait for you all to experience the film when it releases.”
Now, Pallavi Joshi has an exciting line-up of films. Apart from Tanvi The Great, she will be seen in husband and filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri’s The Delhi Files: The Bengal Chapter.
Coming back to Tanvi The Great, the film is the second directorial venture for Anupam Kher and it also stars Shubhangi Dut in the titular role, along with Arvind Swamy, Jackie Shroff, Boman Irani and Karan Tacker.
