Jawan, Guns & Gulaabs and Dahaad writer Sumit Arora on striking "hat-trick" in 2023: "All these three projects are very close to my heart"

In the world of Indian cinema, writers often remain in the shadows, but Sumit Arora has emerged as a shining star, making 2023 his hat-trick year. His contribution to the success of two blockbuster series, Dahaad and Guns And Gulaabs, cannot be overstated. Arora's pen has breathed life into these shows with his dialogues, making them an instant hit among viewers. His ability to capture the essence of the characters and their emotions in his dialogues has garnered widespread acclaim. With Jawan, it was a hattrick for Sumit Arora.

Arora also expressed, "I am truly humbled by the overwhelming appreciation and love I've received in 2023. It's been a hat-trick year, and I couldn't be more grateful. All these three projects are very close to my heart, and to see all of them receive so much love from the audience is a feeling I can't even describe in words."

 

All three of them have been really different from each other, Dahaad being a serious crime thriller, Guns & Gulaabs a fun crime caper and Jawan being a full-on mass film. Arora comments, "I really enjoy going into a new territory with every new project. Explore a new genre, new tone, and new kind of language, actually makes me work harder and enjoy the whole process. I get bored doing the same kind of thing."

 

The wordsmith is currently busy with his upcoming project Chandu Champion and fans can't wait to see what new dialogues he will craft.
