Sushant Singh Rajput, who went under a lot of training for this film, had spent a lot of time MS Dhoni to learn about his journey. Sharing a photo with the cricketer, he wrote, "Us flexing ... This time it's close @mahi7781." Durimg the launch, Sushant praised Dhoni a lot and said that he had a lot of respect for him.
Directed by Neeraj Pandey, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story also stars Kiara Advani and Disha Patani and is slated to release on September 30, 2016.
