Bigg Boss 17: Kanwar Dhillon denies rumours of participating in Salman Khan-hosted show; says, “Not doing Bigg Boss this year but…”
Kanwar Dhillon, who was last seen playing Shiva in Star Plus's Pandya Store, has dismissed rumours of participating in Bigg Boss 17. The actor took to Instagram to clarify that he is not doing the show this year, but will definitely consider doing it in the future.
Dhillon's exit from Pandya Store earlier this year sparked speculations that he would be joining the upcoming season of Bigg Boss 17, one of India's most popular reality shows. However, the actor has now put an end to all the rumours, confirming that he will not be participating in the show this year.
In his Instagram story, Dhillon wrote, "Let's put an end to these speculations.. Not doing Bigg Boss this year but will definitely do the show in the near future!" The actor also thanked his fans for their love and support and promised to be back soon with new projects.
According to a report by Times of India, Dhillon will be next seen in a new show by Shashi Sumeet Productions. The show is currently in the casting stage, and Dhillon is the only confirmed actor so far.
Speaking of Bigg Boss 17, the show will premiere on Colors on October 15 at 9 PM. Earlier this month, the makers shared the first promo, featuring Salman Khan. In the brief announcement video, Salman Khan stated that the upcoming season will welcome “explosive” contestants for the game. However, the details about the participants have been kept under wraps.
