BO update: Tanu Weds Manu Returns starts strong

 

This week we see the somewhat solo release of the Kangna Ranaut - R. Madhavan starrer TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS (TWMR) that comes after a successful prequel. The film which was piqued to do well at the box office has so far lived up to expectations.BO update: Tanu Weds Manu Returns starts strong

 

In fact reports from across the country say that TWMR has opened strong with a 60% occupancy rate in the morning shows. Interestingly though, PIKU that released two weeks ago still holds the audience's attention and has managed to claim approximately 25% occupancy rate. On the other hand, Hollywood releases TOMORROWLAND and BIG GAME do not feature in morning shows.

 

On the whole, with positive reviews all across, TWMR that released across 2200 screens in India and 340 screens overseas is expected to register bumper footfalls evening onwards. While from the Hollywood releases, TOMORROWLAND is expected to take the lead over BIG GAME that has hardly been promoted.
