According to early estimates, MY NAME IS KHAN collected a solid $ 1.86 million [approx. Rs. 8.63 crores] on 120 screens in its first 3 days in America. The screen average works out to approx. $ 15,500. It must be noted that it has been snowing heavily in the East Coast, yet the business has been amazing. Plus, the weekend witnessed the release of three major Hollywood films - VALENTINE'S DAY, PERCY JACKSON & THE OLYMPIANS and THE WOLFMAN.
