Gangubai Kathiawadi Box Office Collections Day 3: Gangubai Kathiawadi beats 2 States; becomes Alia Bhatt’s 4th highest all-time opening weekend grosser

The Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi that was released last week on Friday opened to a positive response from the critics. Following this, the film was welcomed with open arms by the audience who have been thronging theatres across the country. In fact, the business of Gangubai Kathiawadi surpassed expectations consistently on its opening day and second day as well, collecting Rs. 10.50 cr on day 1 and a further Rs. 13.32 cr on day 2. Now on its third-day expectations for the film have been at an all-time high. But given the patronage, the film has enjoyed predictions state that the opening weekend business of the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial could well cross Rs. 40 cr.

Currently, Gangubai Kathiawadi enjoys the audiences’ favour and is expected to see continued growth in business as the week progresses. In fact, with the central government relaxing the pandemic restrictions, more locations are opening up with an increase in occupancy and total number of shows. Given these perks and the fact that the film has received positive feedback from the audience and critics alike, expectations are that the business of Gangubai Kathiawadi will see further growth.
