Box Office: Happy Bhag Jayegi is very stable, Rustom to cross Housefull 2 today

After taking an opening day of Rs. 2.32 crore, Happy Bhag Jayegi has been doing consistent business at the box office. Though the film did dip on Monday, it has been stable ever since then and actually showing some improvement as well. Wednesday evening and night shows saw further escalation in numbers due to Janamashtmi (partial) holiday today (Thursday). As a result, Rs. 1.82 crore came in and the total currently stands at Rs. 15.78 crore.

 

Today, the film should cross Rs. 2 crore and that should help the film come closer to the Rs. 18 crore mark. This Eros and Aanand L. Meanwhile, Rustom is maintaining its strike rate of over Rs. 2 crore* coming in on each of the weekdays. It too saw some push on Wednesday night and would benefit further from the partial holiday today. The Akshay Kumar starrer has collected Rs. 114 crore* already. Today, it would cross the lifetime total of Akshay Kumar's own Housefull 2 [Rs. 116 crore]. Superhit.
