Box Office: Dhurandhar 2 races to Rs.405 crores in 4 days flat; redefines the number game in India
The Ranveer Singh and Aditya Dhar led Dhurandhar has redefined the number game in India, as the film has set new records at the box office over its 4 and a half day opening weekend. After raking in Rs. 100 crore on Saturday, the film is seeing another surge in business on Sunday as the early estimates are suggesting fourth day business in the range of Rs. 100 crores to Rs. 110 crores.
This is a new all time single day record for a feature film, defeating the previous best, which was again the Saturday of Dhurandhar 2. The top 3 biggest single days of all time now belong to Dhurandhar 2 - Sunday, Saturday and Thursday. The total opening weekend collection of Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge stands at Rs. 405 crores and the film is all set to hit the Rs. 500 crore mark in 7 days flat, with the extended week one headed for Rs. 575 crore plus.
The film will become the number 3 of all time in 9 days flat, and probably become the number 1 Hindi film of all time in less than 14 days, which speaks volumes about the run it has recorded at the box office. The film is set to defeat blockbusters like Shah Rukh Khan led Jawan and Pathaan in less than a week, as well as others like Stree 2, Gadar 2, and Chhaava.
