Vivek Oberoi in legal crisis for Service Tax Evasion

With many Bollywood stars caught in the legal controversy of Service Tax Evasion, the next on the list is Vivek Oberoi. The actor has been accused of not paying service tax of Rs. 40 lakhs, by the service tax department.

 

We hear that the actor was seen taking a huge sum from the producers claiming it to be service tax but did not pay the same to the department. Also, the department alleged that the actor does not have a registration with them.

However, Vivek denied the accusations and stated that he has been registered with their department.
