VCL pioneers 3D animation in 'Fun2Shh'

Visual Computing Labs (VCL), a division of Tata Elxsi Limited that offers animation and special effects services to both Hollywood as well as Bollywood, has successfully mixed a 3D character with live action, for the Bollywood comedy Fun2shh. The animation amounts to about 25 minutes of special effects in the film. VCL are the first ones to use this technique in a Hindi movie and have already achieved the distinction of being the first ones to use this technique in an Indian movie also, when they composited a CG Girl character in the Tamil movie Boys, directed by renowned director Shankar.
