Vashu - David's 'Shaadi No. 1'

Producer Vashu Bhagnani and director David Dhawan have had a wonderful association, with COOLIE NO. 1, HERO NO. 1, BIWI NO. 1 and BADE MIYAN CHOTE MIYAN, all proving hits. The combo is all set to strike back with a new project, which will be a multi-starrer. While a section of the press has gone overboard speculating the star cast of the film, here's the actual cast. The film will star Sanjay Dutt with real-life cousins Fardeen and Zayed Khan [teamed for the first time] along with STYLE star Sharman Joshi. David and I've confirmed these four actors for the film, Vashu informs me. As for the leading ladies, the film will star not three or four, but six actresses. We wanted to sign the leading ladies only after we had procured the dates of the four actors. Now that the men have been finalized, the job next is to confirm the girls, Vashu divulges. To roll in December this year, the film will be a light-hearted entertainer. It's a remake of a South film actually it belongs to the same genre as BIWI NO. 1. There are light moments aplenty, but a strong undercurrent of emotions as well, Vashu says enthusiastically. Vashu has already registered the title SHAADI NO. 1 for the film. It suits the content of our film to the T, he smiles, But I won't confirm it till David gives his approval. Let's hope Vashu and David recreate history for the fifth time in a row!
