The making of Mughal-e-Azam

The magic of Mughal-e-Azam just doesnt seem to fade off. After creating box-office history more than four decades back and repeating history with its colorized version last year, apart from being premiered at several foreign countries, the movie magic is still on. Akhtar Asif, wife of the director of Mughal-e-Azam K.Asif released a book on the making of the cinematic gem. The collectors item book details the making of Mughal-e-Azam from its inception stage to its re-release in the colored version. Published in co-operation of Sterling Investment Corporation Private Limited (the production banner of the film), the book is written by Sandeepa Paldia. Deepesh Salgia who worked on the colored version of MEA was also present on the book launch along with Akhtar Asif and Sandeepa Paldia.
