Sushmita's accident on sets of Chingari

Susmita Sen had an accident on the sets of Kalpana Lajmi's Chingari in Satara district (Maharashtra) on Tuesday. The accident happened when a scene was being shot near the riverbank. The scene as it will appear on screen has Susmita leading a crowd of 1000 people, to cross the river she has to take off her shoe and that is when she cut the underside of her big toe. Not making a big issue the thorough professional that Miss Sen is continued shooting. Though a doctor was called for painkillers and bandaging, what overwhelmed Sushmita were the innumerable calls she received from well-wishers and family. This is not the first time that Sushmita has been hurt on the sets of her film; the first was on the sets of Mahesh Manjrekar's It Rained One Night. The accident happened when a unit man behind her switched on a fan. Her wig got pulled and her neck did a full rotation flinging her a couple of feet away.
