Sony releases 'Lakshya' music

Sony Music released the music of LAKSHYA, produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and UTV and directed by Farhan Akhtar, amidst a packed gathering on April 7 at Hotel Taj Land's End, Bandra. The guests from the armed forces outnumbered the media persons and the family friends of the makers and there was a valid reason for it - a substantial part of the film focuses on the armed forces. LAKSHYA marks the comeback of Javed Akhtar as a script writer after 15 years. Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy have tuned the songs, while Javed Akhtar has penned the lyrics. Starring Amitabh Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Preity Zinta, Om Puri, Sharad Kapoor and Sushant Singh, the film is slated for release on June 11. LAKSHYA is a love story set against the backdrop of war and marks the journey of a young man who inculcates strength, belief and values through this journey.
