Sarbjit declared tax free in Uttar Pradesh

Not many films in Bollywood get to enjoy the 'tax free' status before its release in the theatres. This week's release Sarbjit, that stars Randeep Hooda, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Richa Chadha in the lead roles, is one such film that has already been declared 'tax free' in Uttar Pradesh, while the movie will be releasing only on Friday.

Jackky Bhagnani, who has turned producer with Sarbjit, took to Twitter and shared the news with everyone. He tweeted stating, "Thank you @YadavAkhilesh for making our film #Sarbjit tax free in UP! The team and I are grateful and humbled by your kind gesture." He said "From day one, we have all believed that Sarbjit is a story that needed to be told. It's our labour of love and the team and I are humbled by Akhilesh Yadav's kind gesture. He has been supportive from the very beginning and this decision has only strengthened our belief in our film"

 

Sarbjit, that has been directed by Omung Kumar, has been produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Bhushan Kumar, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Sandeep Singh, Jackky Bhagnani, Krishan Kumar. The film will be releasing all over on May 20, 2016.
