Rajiv Rai to direct a movie for Tips?:

The latest rumour doing the rounds is that Rajiv Rai will be directing a film for an outside banner. The producers in question are believed to be Tips, who have signed him to direct their next film. When contacted, Ramesh Taurani indirectly confirmed the news. Talks are on between us, but nothing has been finalised yet. Well be able to confirm it after a few days from now, Taurani said. If Rajiv does sign this film, he will be directing two films at a time, this film as well as his home-production. On his home-production front, Rajiv has delayed the launch of the film since his mother is not keeping too well. The film, titled ASAMBHAV, stars Bobby Deol, Akshay Kumar and Arjun Rampal in the lead. From what we gather, the film is likely to roll in July 2002.
