Priyanka Chopra sings in Aitraaz

After Kareena Kapoor, it's Priyanka Chopra now. We are talking of the singing bug that's bitten her too. She will render a song in the upcoming thriller Aitraaz directed by Abbas Mustan and produced by Subhash Ghai. The idea originated when directors Abbas Mustan overheard her croon a number softly and asked the former Miss World to sing the song louder. To her embarrassment, the actress obliged only to impress the director-duo and they persuaded her to give singing a try. The song is composed by Himesh Reshammiya, who claims that Aitraaz is his most ambitious project, and will have a landmark music. Incidentally this is not the first time that Priyanka has taken to the microphone. Not many might be aware, but she had crooned a song earlier and more interestingly for a Tamil film 'Thamizan'.
