Planning a thought provoking film:

"MISSION KASHMIR was anything but a thought-provoking film on Kashmir," states Ashok Pandit, who once lived in the beautiful valley, but was forced to move bag and baggage to Mumbai due to the growing militancy in the state. One of the biggest names on the television circuit, besides fighting for the cause of Kashmiri Pandits, the young director is all set to start his first feature-film, which brings to the fore the true problems of Kashmir and Kashmiris. "The success of GADAR has given me the confidence to make the film. Besides exploring the problems faced by the common man in Kashmir, my film will also show how Pakistan is encouraging cross-border terrorism," Pandit divulges. Raman Kumar is scripting Pandit's film, while Mahesh Bhatt is the creative consultant on the project. The film will, in all probability, star three top names in pivotal roles.
