Kirron Kher re-enters the cast of The Rising

Actress Kirron Kher was approached by the makers of 'The Rising' at the start of the film to play the role of Noor Bibi in the film. But she refused the offer for reasons, varying from her price quotation to the length of the role, best known to her. So the makers signed another actress from Delhi, Maya Rao and shot the scenes with her. But later director Ketan Mehta and actor Aamir Khan (the perfectionist that he is) were not very satisfied with the scenes. It's then that they re-approached Kirron who finally agreed to do the film. Kirron has a guest appearance in the film where she plays the role of a brothel owner where Mangal Pandey (Aamir) meets Rani.
