The redoubtable Kamal Haasan is indeed, finally doing a film with his daughter. Confirming this exclusively to leading daily Kamal says, "Yes, Shruti and I will be working together finally. Just completed the first draft of the screenplay. It's looking good."

The young pretty daughter of the legendary Kamal Haasan had opted out of her father's next bilingual film Uthama Villain for the lack of dates. Says the proud father, "Yes, our dates didn't work out. But in a way it was good. It was too early then for Shruti and I to share screen space together. Too much pressure on both of us. Now when she has more experience we will be more comfortable together."
