After 'Page 3',it's a comedy
PAGE 3 is complete and Madhur Bhandarkar is already thinking of his next move. The maker of CHANDNI BAR was keen to have his current film premiered at the ongoing I.F.F.I. in Goa, but since it hasn't been censored yet, he has decided to send it to other festivals.
While PAGE 3 is slated for release on January 14, 2005, Madhur is already planning two more movies. The first will be a comedy fare no, I am not inspired by the success of MUNNABHAI M.B.B.S., MUJHSE SHAADI KAROGI or the recent HULCHUL. I had been toying with the idea of making a light entertainer for a while now, Madhur informs me.
The second film that he intends starting will be a sensitive fare. On the lines of CHANDNI BAR, SATTA and PAGE 3. But different in content, of course. I am hoping to traverse a new territory with this film, he clarifies instantaneously. The cast of the two films will be finalized once Madhur is through with their scripting.
