The iconic Kodak Theatre entrance shot in KI which is dazzling with lights and special decoration, was actually shot in daylight. Merzin Tavaria explains why, "When you shoot such kind of scenes at night, the captured image is dark and hazy and nothing is achieved as an output." Hence, the theatre entrance was lit up to look as if it was shot during the night by adding wall lights, street lights, glow and other enhancement in the post-production stage.
