Imtiaz Ali to direct Ranbir?

Ranbir Kapoor has arrived with a bang! First, WAKE UP SID made people notice his abilities as an actor and cultivated a strong fan-base for him. Now, the stupendous business of AJAB PREM KI GHAZAB KAHANI has made people realize that Ranbir has it all to be the next superstar. In fact, Ranbir has joined the Premier Club, hobnobbing with SRK, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan, Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor, whose films have, consistently, opened very well at the ticket window.
The latest news doing the rounds of the industry is, Imtiaz Ali, the celebrated director of JAB WE MET and LOVE AAJ KAL, has signed Ranbir for his next film, which will be produced by the Mehtas of Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision.
"I am still deciding on the story of my next film," Imtiaz informs me, "Sure, I did meet Ranbir earlier. I met him recently too. But till I lock the story, I wouldn't be able to confirm whether or not I am making the film. Hopefully, I should take a call soon."
