Idea Cellular's digital campaign: Making of Zac Junior

Idea Cellular's 'Walk When You Talk' Campaign was a successful campaign in terms of its reach and recall. Taking this success to the next level the advertisers thought of an online campaign - 'Zac Junior', to target the youth and other net savvy target group. Zac Junior is an animated character created by Cell 18 which has a popular application on Facebook and Idea Cellular website, where users can make Zac walk when he talks. Zac embodies the youth of India; a cool dude, who loves junk food and hanging around and lazing. With this campaign, advertisers engage viewers, trying to get them to make Zac walk, while talking. Cell 18 created the 3D animated character walking in different scenarios - the park, the countryside, at night and in the gym, on a treadmill. They also had Zac 'Walking like an Egyptian' and 'Moonwalking'. The character was created by Cell 18 based on the brief given by Tribal DDB. Zac Junior also has a few virals circulating the net, some of these are 'Himesh mix' amd 'Sakshi ka swayamwar' - fun to watch virals with a reminder message of Walk when you talk.
