Reality television now on big screen

After the bang of reality shows on various television channels, a UK based production house called Tearpol Motion Pictures is producing a film on the reality shows. The movie stars TV actors Shabbir Ahluwalia, Yash Tonk, Kushal Punjabi, Tanaaz Irani and Bhakthiyaar Irani..
Titled as Kisses Love Phillums and Dosti (KLPD), the film will go on floors by the end of August and will be shot from to start to end in Bangkok. Incidentally, the movie stars TV actors who themselves have been a part of reality shows on small screen.
Producer Sunny Nirula says, "It's a very different concept, not exactly based on the current trend of reality shows, but it showcases a group of people behind the cameras playing a game of a reality. It addressed some social issues in a humorous way though. "
The producer chose to stick around with small screen actors. He says, "We decided to have an out of the box star cast. They are popular TV stars and have a huge fan following. Having big names in your films is just making a 'whole' in the pocket."
It is a 35-day schedule extensively shot in an apartment. The movie will release by the end of the year.
