Sonali Bendre lights up Surya Click here to add this article to My Clips

By Bollywood Hungama News Network, January 31, 2009 - 11:41 IST

Sonali Bendre is someone who really defines and lives up to the definition of being a 'Star', as she is someone who took the world not just by storm, but by a whirlpool, courtesy her drop dead good looks and her hour glass figure! And for all those who were sorely missing her in action, hope came in the form of her being the judge on Indian Idol.

And if that was not enough, she is all set to set the ad world on fire (all over again!) with her role of a Brand Ambassador of Surya Bulbs and Tubes. Speaking about her association with the brand, the official spokesperson of Surya confirmed the news and added, "Sonali has been signed as our Brand Ambassador for a tenure of 2 years. As of now, she will be seen only in TV commercials (one of which is already on air). Maybe, in later stages, we may think of extending her role in ads for press, POP, hoardings etc..." When Bollywood Hungama asked as to why Sonali of everyone, the spokesperson reasoned out saying, "Of the entire breed of Bollywood actresses, we found Sonali to be the eternal best. Plus, she also spells class and exquisite-ness that has always been associated with Surya."

We just couldn't argue with that! All that we can say is "Welcome back, Miss Long Legs...we mean...Mrs. Long Legs." For starters, she is married to director Goldie Behl!
