Prayers go up, blessings come down

When HAAL-E-DIL flopped, Adhyayan Suman was heart-broken. But more than him his parents were disturbed that their son’s debut film had failed to take off. It happens all the while, more so in the film industry when parents get affected when their kid’s film fails at the box-office. Quite obviously, the Sumans were hoping [and praying] that Adhyayan’s second film RAAZ - THE MYSTERY CONTINUES works at the box-office.
In fact, a night before the release of RAAZ – THE MYSTERY CONTINUES, Shekhar Suman walked all the way from his Versova residence to Siddhivinayak temple in Prabhadevi, praying to the Almighty that his son’s second film works at the box-office. “I had barely stepped out of the temple when a bus featuring the poster of RAAZ – THE MYSTERY CONTINUES passed by and my eyes fell on Adhyayan’s picture on the poster. I realized then and there that God had answered my prayers,” the doting father tells me.
Now that RAAZ – THE MYSTERY CONTINUES has worked and Adhyayan’s performance has also been appreciated, Shekhar and Adhyayan must be thanking the Almighty for having blessed them!
